A heavier and straighter blade than the Officer counterpart, this weapon suits the no-nonsense soldier on foot who needs more than a short-sword in close-combat situations.   With the stylized pommel and curved guard, a boon to any soldier.

 

The sword will also balance to around two hands’ breadth from the forward guard unless otherwise requested.  Please be aware that any balancing further back towards the hand will result in a very light-blade feel and the weapon will not naturally hang in a scabbard. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Obvious to all, this sword was inspired by the Heavy-Cavalry 1796-pattern sword from the TV Series Sharpe.
