Renaissance-inspired LARP weapons and equipment

From some pictures in Paintshop, some mind-twisting conversation and a demanding remit, our customer decided on this monstrosity.  A few weeks at the Forge of Chaos, sweating over the heat of the Infernal Fires of Hell produced this Evil Blade, tempered in the blood of demons and … well, you get the picture.

 

At 42 inches, with a hand and a half leather bound grip, massive ornate guard sweeping up and down front and back, the long straight-edged blade, curved edges running down the back, pictures of skulls in the centre and a crest design of crossed-axes with golden wings on the pommel, the weight reduced with a carbon fibre core, the customer got exactly what he wanted and is very pleased with the results. 

 

This sword wasn’t taken from anything other than the imagination and is here to show you what can be achieved.
